๐ฉ๐พ Interested and qualified hairdressers for your hairstyle type can then respond, discuss and make service proposals (price, portfolio, estimated duration, reviews..).
๐ Interested in a proposal? Confirm it online and ๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธ enjoy your hair session :) You can rate the hairdresser after the service.
Yes, Zenaba is a serious platform that has been around for twenty years :) hundreds of hairdressers and thousands of delighted clients (rated โญ 4.7/5 on Google)
Yes, the Zenaba afro hairdressing app is open to all of mainland and overseas territories with over 200 partner afro hairdressers. Even in rural areas, there are often mobile hairdressers ready to travel.
You should make sure the hairdresser's specialties match your needs, know the maintenance time and care associated with the hairstyle, and finally agree on the price and organizational details (duration, schedule). You will find the proposed rate, reviews and achievements of the hairdresser on each service proposal.
Submit your request directly on the form and receive proposals. A service proposal suits you? Simply select the date from the hairdresser's schedule and confirm it by paying the deposit (if the hairdresser requests it).
Our hairdressers can respond evenings and weekends and generally act quite quickly. Check "Urgent timeline" in the form and specify your available time slots. Adding a recent photo of your hair helps enormously: hairdressers can assess feasibility faster and respond quickly.
Each hairdresser is verified before being visible on Zenaba and your request is sent as a priority to the highest-rated local hairdressers who master your hair type / desired hairstyle. Many are certified or trained in textured hair. You can view their profiles, before/after photos and client reviews before booking. The more precise your request, the more clearly the hairdresser can confirm she masters the desired service.
Most afro hairdressers have their own equipment and travel to your home, but some may offer services in a more suitable location or at their home. We invite you to specify in the form whether you can travel or not in order to receive suitable proposals.
Yes, sending a request is completely free for you. You only pay to book the service by card (once everything is clear, generally $5, secure card payment) then the agreed amount directly to the hairdresser on the day. Zenaba has a cost for hairdressers, who purchase credits to receive and process requests. That's why we ask you to be precise and not multiply requests.
Because a complete request makes all the difference :) By specifying your hair type, length (stretched), desired style, an indicative budget if any, your availability and some photos, you significantly increase your chances of getting quick and relevant responses. It also shows hairdressers that your request is serious, which encourages them to respond: each response costs them time and credits on the platform.
In your request, specify your preferences. Hairdressers systematically indicate whether hair extensions are included in their price or not, and if not, which model or type of extensions you'll need to buy.
The afro hairdresser will tell you directly her process depending on your hair type and desired hairstyle.
Each hairdresser freely sets her prices, based on her experience, the complexity of the hairstyle, the equipment needed and the time involved. The Zenaba afro hairdresser app values the afro hairdressing profession, a skill that deserves fair compensation.
For any clear agreement, go through the appointment proposal. It's a detailed offer sent by the hairdresser: it specifies the service, exact price, duration, location, date and time. You then pay a service fee to confirm and block the slot. It's the best way to avoid any misunderstanding and ensure everything is set before the service. You can rate the hairdresser after the service.
If you need to change the date, time or location, simply contact the hairdresser directly via messaging or her contact details in the proposal. She will confirm the new slot.
Cancellation or rescheduling conditions are specified in the appointment proposal. If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, contact the hairdresser directly to agree on an arrangement. Refund or retention of service fees depends on the cancellation notice and is at the hairdresser's discretion. If applicable, she will make the official request to the platform for any adjustment.
The connection is free. If you want to confirm a service with a hairdresser you like, you'll need to pay the service fees (generally $5, secure card payment) to block the slot and confirm the service. The service amount is to be paid directly to the hairdresser on the day, using the payment methods she offers (cash, transfer, Lydia, etc.). All conditions are specified in the proposal.
When making your request, you have the option to automatically create a Zenaba account (checkbox). Your Zenaba Account lets you track which hairdressers read your request, who responded, access the chat and earn points with each booking! (redeemable for hair products) No longer need the account? Delete it in one click from your dashboard.
The data you exchange with hairdressers is only accessible in a private and secure space. Your data can be deleted on simple request (GDPR) or from your Zenaba account in one click. Photos associated with your request are automatically deleted after a period for security reasons.
This can happen if the request is incomplete, if nearby hairdressers are already booked or if there are no afro hairdressers nearby. In any case, you will be notified so you can rephrase your request, add photos, an indicative budget if any, and slightly widen your geographical area.
